I had but new guinea pig in cage with my guinea pig after a day and they were best friends from that moment to this day 1 year later they had a nasty fight

I recently got a new guinea pig for companionship and have them seperate with a way to see each other and I give them visits. Well the older one is not happy with him and the new one is standing his ground. So I've kept them separate for a while

Would it help to add a layer of absorbant material in the middle?

Idk if I can introduce my 2 new guinea pigs to my other 😞 I tried introducing one at a time, and they ended up fighting

I’m introducing my two boys today ... they seem to enjoy each other’s company so I think it will go well! We have their cages right next to each other and they like to sleep side by side and try to groom each other ☺️

You make it look so easy one handed...LOL Just some tips i've learned along the way...You could sew a piece of uhual moving blanket to the top circle --- along with the badding... It will help wisk the pee away and keep the bed dryer in between washings... Also, you could sew a + in the bed (part they lay on) once its finished, to keep the badding from bunching up when washing and drying... But seriously --- Awesome vid...

Its more like different way of eating their food instead of toy lol

I didn't quarantine my new piggy, I just took her straight to the vet to be checked out. The vet said she was totally healthy so I was able to start bonding that day. I know this is an expensive option but my house is soo small so I didn't't have another room to put a different cage in. But it worked well for me!
